The Faithful Fretters brought you some toe-tapping, soulful Bluegrass Gospel Music at the first Roaring Camp Bluegrass Festival. They performed on Sunday, June 12th to a cheering audience.
The Fretters, formerly the Corn Fretters, are a local group with a dynamite set list of traditional and modern, down-home tunes. They cover old hillbilly ballads, crisp bluegrass standards, and modern folk rock with a passion; not to mention a few straight-up cowboy tunes. Several of Rick Ednie's clever, original compositions round out the repertoire with compelling stories woven into fun, tasteful music.

They have played the Brookdale Bluegrass Festival for a few years in a row. They appeared at the Cowboy Diner for a year or so, until the owner's newly acquired liquor license packed the place even without live music...

Their regular gigs include the White Raven Coffee House in the heart of downtown Felton, on the second Saturday of the month, at about 5:30pm - No Cover Charge; Sing along!
